SIATech Teachers : New Staff Academy

SIATech is a unique educational environment with nuances very different from a traditional school setting. Because of this, New Staff Academy, (NSA) was designed to orient new staff to learn more about SIATech as an organization, the partnership with Job Corps, and most importantly, the unique population of at-promise learners.

During the four-day training, new instructional staff members are introduced to the curriculum team and receive intensive training in their content areas. A cross-training model is also available, depending on the needs of the attendees. NSA is offered five times per year so this this unique training opportunity is provided to new staff members as close to their start date as possible.
